who we are
New Entreprise Records is an independent record label based in Montreal, Quebec. The company produces, markets and distributes recorded music, while also providing music arrangement and post-production services. We support artists through creative development, release planning and promotional strategy.
Our mission is to build distinctive artistic identities and develop music projects for both local and international audiences. We oversee the creative and commercial elements of each release, including production, visual direction, digital distribution, physical products and promotional campaigns.
New Entreprise Records takes a long-term approach to artist development, catalogue growth and the creation of sustainable music careers.
Where we operate
New Entreprise Records is physically based in Montreal, Quebec, where its founder, Frank Mbonda, has lived and developed his creative career since 2012. While Montreal serves as the label’s operational and cultural home, our activities extend far beyond a single city or territory.
We collaborate with artists, producers, distributors, media professionals and business partners across international markets. This global network enables us to develop, promote and distribute music for audiences around the world. Montreal provides our physical foundation, while our partnerships and ambitions extend well beyond Canada.
